It sounds like a venting problem.

: When I flush the upstairs toilet, the water erupts in the downstairs toilet. I know that horror movie guys would pay alot of money for this but it is driving me crazy. Not to mention that if someone flushes the upstairs toilet and a women is using the downstairs one.
