Just installed new mixer bath / shower unit. The hot water is backflowing when the shower head is raised or the cold water is turned on. On buying the taps i thought i had a combination hot / cold storage tank, which should work fine. (i live in a flat) but it turns out that i have a two part hot water storage tank and the cold water comes straight from the mains. is there a way of installing a valve to stop the hot water backflowing? will that cure the problem? do i need to install a pump to increase the pressure of the hot water?? if any of the above could you please specify what equipment i would need and where would the new parts go. please help!!! thanks
