|In response to Re: $123 Toilet water control valves??|
No. And he is charging you the same as if you had one installed on Wednesday, one on Thursday, and the final one on Friday. Each as a separate call and if you have him install them, make him come to the house three different days to do the work.
: I called a plumber to unstop a drain and do a "whole house inspection" and he told me that the water control valves installed in my toilets (purchased recently at Sears hardware) would not pass code and should be replaced at a cost of $370.56 for three toilets! It seems obvious to me that he was trying to gouge me but what is the bit about them not passing code? Can Sears and other hardware stores sell products that do not pass code?
