They are called Fernco couplers, and they work fine. Are you sure you're existing drain is copper? I'm not a plumber and there are lots of things I've not heard of, but a 3" flanged copper drain seems odd to me. Not that it matters too much, Fernco makes a coupler for about any combination you can come up with. |
