Since you say it is a 3" riser, you only have one option. That is a 3" hub flange placed over the pipe and cemented to it. This should be placed on top of the tile. : I'm going to install a toilet in basement bath after using self-leveling concrete over slab, then tiling. Looking for pointers on best approach to attaching flange. Right now I have a 3" stub protruding through concrete slab which has about 0.25" of styrofoam wrapped around outside of pipe so that concrete did not come right up to pipe when poured. I was assuming this is plumbing trick for easier toilet flange install? : Based on tile over concrete, what is the best flange style and install method? : Thanks, Kent
