|In response to Re: Shower drain install|
It will not destroy the gasket, but it could affect the shower drain itself, depending on the material it is made of.
: I just installed a 3-piece shower. The floor drain has a rubber gasket that the 2" drain slides into. I put some petroleum jelly on the gasket so I would not damage it. Will the petroleum jelly destroy the gasket over time or should I remove it?
