: Terry, Thanks for the response about the joists notching. A plumbing book I bought said that
notches are okay if you notch only the end 1/3 of
the span for joists. But to avoid the whole issue
of multiple solder joints and joists notching, I could run flexible copper tubing through the center of the joists, would you recommend this approach? Thanks,
