I position it as close to the flapper as possible to give the maximum flush. Sometimes this will give a double or triple flush in which case it can be raised a little bit at a time until it does not quite start the second flush cycle. : My American Standard low flow toilet has a float that looks like a hockey puck atteched to the chain that opens the flapper valve. The float position is adjustable. Where should the float be located?
