| In response to Re: tie in to basement drain for wet bar? | |
![]() : I am considering installing a wet bar in my basement and would like to get advice on putting in the drain. I am thinking about cutting into the concrete floor and trenching over to a floor drain near my HVAC unit. is this acceptable to tie into this drain unit? what is the best way to do it? The drain is about 30 feet from the sink I would be putting in so I would need approx 8 inches of drop? Can I use a barometric vent under the counter of the bar for this length of drain pipe considering the low volume of water? I would be using 1 1/2 inch PVC. Please let me know your thoughts. The floor drain is likely a 2". |
