The pressure will be exactly the same no matter what size or sizes pipe. What you are concerned with is volume (gpm) You'll have no problems from the meter and/or supply line. The restricting part is the 1/2" house line, but 1/2" is all that is needed in most residences.

  • Re: connecting a water supply line Gary, I am conncecting my home to a municiple water system. I am about 1100 feet from the meter. The meter has a 5/8 outlet and the house has 1/2 copper. What size and type of line do I need to lay from the meter to the house. 17:13:12 10/22/03(0)
