connecting a water supply line

We moved into a house that needs to have a water supply line connected to the meter tap. The meter tap is 3/4 and there is already a 2" line in place. If I go from 3/4" (at the tap) to 2" (supply line) to 1/2"
(in the house) will this cause a problem with the pressure?
