: Push the "bypass" button on the Culligan water line. If the noise goes away it is the softener, if it continues it is probably the reducing valve.
We've done that. When we bypass the Culligan, we don't get the noise, but Culligan still insists that it's just because it changes the dymanics of the pressure and it's not the C system itself. It's been quite frustrating!
