To tell everything about septic tanks would require a book. Perk tests tell the porosity of the soil which determines the type of system you can install and the size. Your best option is to contact a local installer and let him give you the options and the prices. From that you can make your decision. : Tell me all you know about ceptic tanks. We just bought a lot and they are talking about the land is perked, and less fill lines and alternate sewage. I am lost. HELP!
