What are you going to use in place of it? If you abandon it, you should break in the top and fill the tank with gravel or dirt. In addition, if it is one that has a cesspool well for the output water, then it should also be exposed and filled in.
: Hi, my wife and I are about to buy a single family home in Massachusettes (fixer upper). I was wondering is it expensive to remove one and fill in the the land?. Or is it ok just to clean it out cap it off and leave it there?.If we leave it there could cause mold etc. problems.
