: I put an outdoor tap kit on my pipe under the sink - it was no good, so I got plumber to put proper copper piping in. He connected to the pipe and brought the piping four inches out, to make a bend so more pipe - six inches long - could be finally connected to the pipe that went through wall to tap. Half way along the six inch pipe he placed the valve. I have a working outdoor tap but whenever I turn a tap off I get a loud vibrating noise leading up the pipe to the tap? Did the plumbing job cause this problem? How do I fix it?

Paul,
It could be the function of the faucet. Some washers run loose on them. Or it could just be a really loose washer.
