It sounds like you need to replace the filling mechanism (inlet value and float). This is an easy do it yourself job. You can get a replacement for $10-20. : I have a toilet that when the water is almost finished refilling, the toilet emits a moaning sound. The length of the "moan" varies as does the volume of it. What is the problem and is it something I can fix myself?
