: We are having a new home built, (in Redmond, OR) and with the contractor had originally decided on copper pipes. The plumber mistakenly has installed blue and red pipes so far and I am trying to find out if we should just go with this instead of copper. I found on the red QEST PEX so they are evidently a PEX product. The plumber told our contractor that they were made by RTI. I feel that we should stick with the PEX for this area the more I read about this. What is your opinion? Thanks so much.
