Thermostatic Shower Systems (i.e. Aquadis)

I've been looking for exposed thermostatic shower valves. They are more commom and much cheaper in europe. Most of what I have found here are on the order of $500 -- grohe, hansa america. Aquadis makes one at around $250, but I am unfamiliar with the quality of Aquadis. I could have a good one sent frm Europe, but I'd have to do some custom fittings to make it work. Anyone have experience with Aquadis, in general, or thier thermostatic valves, in particular?
