|In response to Re: pedestal sink on uneven floor|
Use the shims but push them back under the edge of the pedestal and then caulk the gap closed, which you should do anyway, even if it were level.
: We are trying to install a pedestal sink on a floor that slopes slightly towards the center of the room. To get the sink to sit level my husband wants to shim it up with pennies that would be visible. Iwould rather shim it in between the sink and the base so the base is still a little crooked but there are no unsightly pennies. But that would make the sink unstable? What is the best way to address this problem?
