Look on the bright side of it, if they slaughter you, then it will not be your problem. There is almost nothing that will stop the leak while the water is turned on, since the pressure will penetrate just about anything you try to put on it while you are applying it.
: I went downstairs yesterday and found water dripping steadily from the elbow of a copper pipe. I have tried to tape it untill I can get my plumber to come over, but nothing will stick. Latex, duct tape, everything I could think of and I just can't stop the leak. Does anyone know of anything to stop the flow for a day or two ? If I shut the water off, my family will slaughter me.
