PEX is a good product.
I don't think the brand makes much difference.
I use Wirsbo, but mainly based on what my supplier carries. The other brands looked good to me too.
Some copper is used with it. It has been in use in Europe for over 27 years.
It insulates well.
Resists splitting when frozen.
I would and have used it in my personal home. Terry
: I'm building a new house and they are just beginning the rough in stage for the plumbing. It appears that they are planning on using a supply tubing called "qest pex" by Zurn. The tubing is white in color. I also think that they are planning on using copper fittings. My question is, should I stop this installation right now or is the current qest product ok to use. I normally don't have a problem with newer materials but I don't want to install something with a poor track record. Any help would be appreciated.
