: I recently purchased a 10 year old home. We have our own septic system and a well with hard water. It appears as though our water softener is not working properly. It has been months and the salt is not being used at all. Being a first time homebuyer I have no idea where to begin to fix this problem. is there something I can use to flush the lines or remove build up from the water softener itself? Thanks : I suggest you look in the yellow pages and call some independent water treatment dealers and find one to come out and do a water analysis and check the softener out and set it up correctly for your water quality and water use. Many would do this at no to minimal charge. |
