Tank and Bowl Mismatch

I was wondering if it is possible to put a American Standard Williamsburg tank on an AS Cadet bowl? I like the look of the Williamsburg tank, but the Cadet bowl is a little smaller. I have a small bathroom and a smaller bowl will allow the door to open wider. Or, if anybody knows of a small good toilet, let me know. Thanks.
