There is also a spring-loaded anti-syphon valve. It can be installed below grade. In my town, the city inspects this valve every spring ($25)to make certain it is functioning properly. Why not check with a local sprinkler installer to see what they recommend. Might even sell you one. Here's place where looking for cheap probably isn't the wise thing to do.
