Just a personal reflection, but since I do not feel that a porcelain on steel should ever be installed in the first place, it would have to be in very good condition to warrant reinstalling the same one a second time. Most are not. : My Porcelain of Steel bathtub has been removed so the bathroom can be : remodeled. To help eliminate the noise from the adjoining rooms I am : insulating the walls with R13 insulation. Also, I would like to wrap the : tub in insulation before it is reinstalled; However I am unsure if this will : cause a problem. Will wrapping the tub in insulation cause moisture to : penetrate the insulation rendering is useless? Any information on this : subject would be greatly appreciated.
