You cannot "remove" it since it is part of the mounting seal. You have to take a knife and cut the fingers off.
: How do you remove the splash guard to replace it? Mine has "hardened" up and it causes water to splash everywhere. I bought a "universal fit" splash guard which seems like it would work, but I can't remove the old splash guard.
