I do not know what washer you replaced, since Moen faucets do not have washers. Any repair requires replacing the entire stem/cartridge. : I was wondering if anyone knew of a soultion to this problem. I took off the Moen handle and replaced it. The problem when I shut off the tub facuet completly it still drips steadily. I can still hear the water pipes sound as if it is still running. I replaced the washer as well as the handle. I am stumped and do not want to call a plumber for possibly a simple problem. Thank you for your advice. : Christopher P.
