You do not have 1' pipes in your house. 4" maybe, but that would be the largest unless it was built by someone who had a lot of money to burn. YOu may have to have a plumber check the toilets since units from that era normally flush properly. They do not wear out but can need tune ups. OK, I was exagerrating. every time I hop over them in the crawl space its a pretty big deal. The toilets are "modern" in that they are 1.6 gpf, but the pipes inderneath are old. ok, i guess i'll call the plumber as soon as I get some cash saved up. thanks for the quick responses :-) john martin
