: My Insinkerator garbadge disposal unit turns but sounds like there is something stuck in it. The motor spins, but there's a clanging sound as if something is bouncing around in it..any ideas ?..The unit is under warranty, but I installed it myself, so I wonder if it would still be under warranty ?..thoughts ?

It's under warranty still.
If they find something like a spoon in there, then it's not warranty. You may want to fetch whatever is in there.
