Currently, the there is only one "wet wall" in my house with the kitchen on one side and the bathroom on the other. All the fixtures connect to one branch drain line since there is a crawlspace underneath. The current order, moving downstream, is: Shower However, I'd like to rearrange, causing the order to be: Shower I've read though that the toilet can't be upstream of a sink on a branch line. Why is that? Can I run a new parallel pipe for the toilet so it ties in at the current connection point? If I did, wouldn't that just make the toilet line the new branch line, with the sinks would then be running into the branch line downstream of the toilet? I have to be careful here because there's very little grade to work with. Thanks! |
