|In response to Re: 1927 Crane Sinks/Faucets|
Some of the Crane faucets had a proprietary drain pop up system and some also had a china spout built into the lavatory. Either of these would not be replacable. But since the Crane "Dial-eze" stem, which your faucets should have, is easily obtained and replaced, you can restore them to like new operation for a very nominal amount.
: We have two original 1927 Crane pedestal sinks and faucets in our house. The faucets leak water around the hot and cold handles and the it is very hard to turn off the water completely so it doesn't drip. I understand Crane had their own "system" so it would be impossible to get new faucets to fit the sink. Can these faucets be fixed? I'm scared to call a plumber!
