Securing taps from turning

Hi there, I have recently put in a new bathroom suite and have noticed that no matter how tightly I tighten these nylon nuts that came with my taps I cannot get the taps to stop turning in the sink and bath. I do not have fixed risers for the taps, I have flexible hose connectors. I have considered glueing the taps to the ceramic (and fibreglass) tops to see if that will stop the taps from turning. Are there any suggestions before I get at it wil the sealant gun? best regards, Bill.
