1/4" or more is the standard for the size pipes you will probably be using in your remodel. A greater factor than the slope of the pipe is often how they are arranged during the installation. That is one of the things a plumber has learned with his years of experience and the do-it-yourselfer does not realize.
: Terry, we are in the middle of extensive home remodel and wish to relocate 3 bathrooms in our house, our problem is what formula do you use to establish the pitch the sewage lines need wo be at in order to avooid sewage blockage or back up. Thanks in advance for your help in this matter
