I might just go with the wax free using the two person methon that you mentioned.

: I have only used two of them. The first one I did according to their directions but was frustrated by not being able to be sure that the bowl made a good insertion into the gasket. The second one I installed the seal on the bowl first and then inserted it into the pipe. Doing it this way ensures a positive seal, but requires a second person to guide the unit into place in the pipe.
