|In response to Re: bathtub stopper part has dropped into pipes|
It did not drop into the pipes, it dropped into its normal closed position in the drain fittine. Getting it out, however, can be challenging unless you are able to access the pipe between the tee and the overflow opening on the tub and can remove it. If that can be done then the drain plug can be lifted out.
: Hello...just wondering...we have a bathtub that has somehow lost part of the bathtub stopper down into the pipes coming into the bathtub. The water will not drain now. The bathtub is pink! yikes!..Now is the time to convert it to something else but before we do that, we will need to have this pipe problem fixed. Would this be a simple procedure to go into the crawl space & replace the pipes under the floor coming into the house. Just wondering
