Unplug the pump, let it drain into the sump, unscrew the union in the piping, let the liquid drain into the sump, put a double lined trash bag on the floor, lift the pump out and set it into the bag. Install the furnace. Repeat the steps backward. : How can I temporarily remove an ejector pump (I'm trying to install a new furnace but the ejector pump is in the way)?
