I have a Moen kitchen faucet that exhibits some weird behavior. It's been squealing for about the last month when the water is turned on. Now it will not turn on at all. When I lift the handle, it starts to flow, and then it makes a clunking noise and stops flowing. If I barely turn on the water, it comes out, but as soon as I near 1/2 open, it clunks and turns off.
This is a Moen 1 touch kitchen faucet. I replaced the cartridge thinking that may be the cause. The faucet turns on easier now, and it adjusts from hot to cold easier, however it still turns off if I get more that 1/2 open. There is some sort of anti siphon valve in there which I suspect is probably the culpret. Any ideas how to fix this?
