|In response to Re: Water softener/washer drain|
If the drywell is not large enough to hold the water from the washer, or it has become saturated so the water will not absorb into the ground, then that will happen.
: Our water softener hose drains into the top of the pipe that drains our washer, which is located in our basement. When I run the washer, the water comes out of the top of the pipe and goes all over the floor. We put a dry well in a few years ago, but now we still have a problem. I can't remember if it worked right after the dry well was installed or not. What could we do to stop the washer water from draining on the basement floor?
