: : I am remodeling guest bathroom that currently has a shower 32x32. The problem is the tile person doing the remodeling says that acrylic pans don't come in 32x32 anymore due to code in California and the other option is fiberglass. My space is only 32x32 (or actually 31.5 x 31.5) no extra space. I don't like fiberglass. What options do we have. I really appreciate your BB.

: : Thanks.

: G,
: Your options are limited. You may be able to find a fiberglass pan in a 32x32
: You can have a cultured marble pan made to order of have a "mud-set" tiled floor base.
: Terry
Try and find tiffany-marble.com (i'm guessing on url) or other marble co and have custom pan made.
Onyx or something similar. Have rough-in done, no curb, rough 2" drain as close as possible to center. Have them come out and measure, takes 2-3 weeks shop time. Thousand bucks or less. Or you can build a mortar bed shower, requires expert craftsman for expert job. Parts cheap, lotsa labor and know-how.
