That price still seems rather high. I am suprised that the city wont take care of that problem under the street, you must be near New York or something. If the city still doesnt cover it, I would get about 5-7 bids and go with the best price. try to ask somebody who can refer somebody who is reasonable enough for you. ClogCleaner
