Hello all Plumbers and Drain cleaners. I am presently spot-repairing a section of my sewer-line that was damaged by alot of roots. I bought a 10'x4" pvc pipe from Home-Depot and a pvc/abs pipe cutter. I allready dug down 4' and I have the pipe fully exposed, but I need another special tool or saw to cut/snap the old cast-iron pipe. What tool to you recommend I buy to accomlish this task?Does Home-Depot sell it?Plumbingsuppy House?..I also bout a pair of Fernco Couplings to attach the pvc pipe to the good cast iron. I replacing about 5 feet of pipe. Please give me recommendatons on the too that I need and any advice on completing this spot-repair job.Do I need to pour rock-salt around the Fernco Couplings?Pour Cement under the new pipe?Thank you.
