If there is a screw, use a screwdriver to loosen the screw. If there is none, then the spout probably unscrews from the pipe coming out of the wall. Without being there to actually see the spout, we cannot tell you which kind you have.
: Hello, I wanted to replace my tub spout. It leaks slightly when the shower is turned on, but it needs to be changed anyway, it's old and grimey. How do I do this. I tried to find a screw and it looks like there might be one, but I'm not sure and I didn't want to start something I couldn't finish. Would it be better to hire a plumber?? Thanks
