In response to Re: cistern condensation

: How do I prevent my cistern from developing condensation on the outside at water level?

: I think the water in the cistern must be much cooler than the temperature on the outside because it is
: constantly dripping onto the floor.

: Is there some kind of insulation jacket I can buy?

The first thing to check is the flapper. Is there water leaking from the tank into the bowl.
Most flappers last at most, five years.
Putting some food color in the tank will help determine if the flapper is leaking.
For insulating the cistern, you can glue foam insulation on the inside of the tank.
