|In response to Re: Could this toilet be faulty?|
: I just installed a new American Standard Cadet 3.5 gal toilet. After first installing it, on the first flush, the water would not go down (nothing in the toilet, just water. I used a plunger and that seemedto clear the problem. However, when flushed a few tiny bubbles rise up, then water rises quite high in the bowl before the flushing action starts. The flush seems weak and the toilet clogs easily but plunging seems to clear it for a while. I can't see any water level mark but even if it's a little low, I don't think that's the problem. I've installed several other toilets (not this type and never had this problem. also, the toilet that was previously installed worked fine,(just did it for a colour change). as does the toilet in the bathroom right beside this one - both use the same vent and drain. Any suggestions?
I was just wondering where you bought it?
