faucet noise

When I turn off my hot or cold water (hot louder) in the master bath sinks (2) there is a thump. It does not do it in the shower. The toilet makes a much lesser faint thump. I have gone under the house and have secured all visible pipes. It does not do it in the half bath or kitchen. The second full bath has a very slight thump. Pressure to the house is 60. What besides a loose pipe in the wall could this be? and how to correct.
