How you connect the drain will depend on how the existing pipes are arranged, and you will not know that until you open the walls and floor. : We wish to add a tub to our existing 1/2 bath, which is on a slab. Are there fittings or just what is the proper way to get a drain for the tub? It will be placed near the toilet, I don't know if there are fittings to tie into the same drain line as the toilet or even if this is a good idea. we'd thought the exiting drain could be elevated and the toilet & tub both be built up above the slab to allow for drainage. All advice appreciated! Thanks
