_ I am planning to renovate the bathroom in the basement. This work requires relocating the toilet bowl. Some plumbers I called in for cost estimate asked if I liked to install also the backflow valve. Is this device necessary ? I live in this house for 21 years without any sewage backflow problem and my area is not in a high risk flood prone area . Please advise . |
