OK... I have a vintage 1959 Crane Walson wall mounted toilet. The china bowl is in good condition, but the tank and mechanicals have long ago ended thier useful life. The house is on a slab... so I think I'll stick with a wall hung toilet. Most plumbers just look at it and shake their heads.
I'm not on a super tight budget, but I do want to be in my confort zone before handing over my bathroom to my plumber. If I understand some of the other postings correctly, I will need to have: 1) a carrier and concealed tank; 2) a bowl.
It also appears that the tank needs to be an assist flush?
I'd rather pay a little more now for less headaches down the road, but I don't want to throw money away either. I'd love some thoughts from those of you who have done this recently. Some suggestions on manufacturers would be appreciated.
