It sounds like your tumbled marble may need another coat of sealer/enhancer. Tumbled products are VERY pourous and it sounds like the reason you are seeing brush marks is where the marble has soaked in more in some areas then others. YOu can hire someone if you like, but applying another coat is as easy as wiping it down with water. You can get sealer/enhancer at any home center.
: I have new tumbled marble that was installed for shower surround, floors and also a slab for my counter in my bathroom. My contractor used a stone enhancer to seal it however I noticed brush/ wipe marks on the stone and it also does not feel smooth - like it needs to be buffed or something. I think I can feel the enhancer like dried maple syrup. I think he probably applied it wrong or with the wrong material. Should I hire a guy from a tile shop to come in and correct it?
