Sorry about the blank post, hit the wrong key. The hose faucets that I am familar with have screw-ends on the inside. I have one that is 1/2" female and 3/4" male. Very clever. To safely remove one, you should get at it from the inside. If you turn from the outside, the threads might not break loose and you could twist the good pipe inside. OIf course, it might come free just fine, but what if???
